The most popular woods (quartersawn
oak and cherry) for Prairie and Arts & Crafts furniture
are shown below. Choose quartersawn oak in a darker finish for a
period look, or go to a lighter color for a softer feel. Natural
cherry gives a clean, up-to-date look that gets more beautiful with
age.

Want something different than what is shown here? Don’t hesitate
to ask! We also offer plainsawn red oak, walnut, mahogany and maple,
and have entertained requests for woods from around the world. Choose
from up to 50 designer stain colors on each wood. We can also create
a custom finish color to match existing antiques, the woodwork in
your home or furniture from another manufacturer.
