Where We Create

We would love to have you come and visit our shop and showroom! We have over 4,000 square feet of furniture displayed, including many of the pieces shown here as well as other styles ranging from Shaker to Contemporary to French Country. An observation deck looks down over the shop area where new pieces are always under construction by the craftsmen. We also have a large assortment of handmade wooden gifts and accessories. Please give us a call ahead if you are planning to come and we will give you a personalized tour!

Our shop is located in the Old Bag Factory, a historic 100 year old manufacturing plant that once housed (you guessed it!) a factory that made bags. Originally home to the Goshen trolley system, a power house with a 150’ tall smokestack and a vast collection of steam-powered equipment on line shafts, it currently houses 18 separate shops, many of them artisans and craftsmen in their own right. We host over 120,000 visitors a year from across the country.

Swartzendruber Furniture Creations is located in the scenic Amish Country of Northern Indiana, only 15 minutes from Interstate 80. We are approximately 110 miles east of Chicago, 130 miles north of Indianapolis and 200 miles west of Detroit.

Our hours are 9-5 Monday through Saturday and 9-7 Thursdays. The shop and showroom are open to visitors year round except Sundays and holidays.
